Meet Our Team
I am a licensed clinical psychologist and graduate from Pepperdine University. I completed my predoctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship at UCLA. As a therapist, I specialize in techniques for implementing LGBTQIA+ and culturally-affirming practices within therapy and institutional settings and have developed expertise in working with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, as well as those coping with experiences of trauma. Though I use an eclectic blend of interpersonal and client-centered therapies, I primarily utilize strategies of identity-affirming cognitive behavioral theory. I have worked in a diverse number of settings including university counseling centers, hospitals, neuropsychology clinics, and community mental health.

I am a bilingual (English and Spanish) Latinx licensed psychologist. I graduated from UC Santa Barbara with my PhD in Counseling, Clinical, and School in 2023. I completed my APA-accredited internship and post-doctoral fellowship at the Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) at UC Los Angeles. As a psychologist, I am deeply committed to supporting diverse individuals who are seeking a safe, affirming space to explore their unique experiences.
My clinical background includes working with people who hold intersecting identities, and I specialize in helping emerging adults, first-generation college students, monolingual Spanish speakers, older adults (personas en la tercera edad), immigration-impacted individuals, and others navigating life transitions, anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, racial identity development, relationship challenges, and the stress of moving between cultures. My work is grounded in a culturally responsive, relational, and interpersonal approach, integrating cognitive and mindfulness-based interventions.

I’m a therapist who works with clients navigating life changes, stress, identity questions, and relationship challenges. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply looking for support, I aim to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and safe to be your full self.
My approach is collaborative, affirming, and strength focused. I offer a thoughtful, supportive space where you can show up fully, explore what’s not working, and reconnect with what matters to you. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, or other stressors, we’ll work together at a pace and depth that aligns with your goals.
I understand how complex and challenging the process of initiating therapy can be. I'm happy to schedule a brief phone consultation if you're interested in learning more about my work and my therapy practice.

I am a licensed psychologist who works with individuals and groups, both virtually and in-person. Much of my work involves supporting people dealing with trauma, anxiety, disconnection, distressing relationships, and suicidal thoughts. As a therapist, I am deeply interested in who my patients are as people, how they came to be them, and how they experience the world given their unique life histories, cultural experiences, and identities. People are much more than their difficulties or diagnoses, and I see therapy as an opportunity for a person to encounter more of themselves, make sense of their experience of the world, and work towards what they want and need in life.
My career as a therapist has involved working and training in community mental health, university-based counseling, and inpatient settings, including extensive experience doing trauma-focused work and supporting people considering suicide. I am also an adjunct faculty member at Mount Saint Mary’s University, where I teach clinical theory to students pursuing their doctoral degrees in psychology. I greatly value the privilege of being a therapist, and part of what motivates me in this work is the belief that talking and meeting together, in the context of an authentic and caring relationship, can create a powerful space for insight, empowerment, and healing.
